I think I've worn tights and shorts together once in my life, trying to replicate a pair of black pants. While I'm still not sure I can pull off the look, I love it on other people. Plus, I found this gorgeous awkwardly-colored sweater that had to make an appearance today.

I liked playing around with the navy and mustard in the sweater, transposing the colors into snazzy gold jewelry pieces. All black on the bottom sets off the look, with a graphic bag providing even more dynamic contrast. And it's all tied together with the perfect fall nail color. I can't describe it better than a direct quote from Butter London: "A high-shine, warm orange-burgundy metallic nail laquer, reminiscent of fallen autumn leaves."
